From August 12 – 17, 2025. We invite you to one of the most important dance events in Latin America and the world. Encuentro 540 is not a workshop or contest, it’s much more. It is an immersive experience, unique in its kind, where for six days dancers, teachers, artists and international leaders gather in the heart of Mexico City to learn, grow and connect in community. Here we do not come to compete: we come to transform.

FOR WHOM?
Dance students, Dancers, teachers, Parents or guardians of dancers.
With a privileged location in the heart of CDMX, being a historic building with more than 500 years of history, originally the palace of Axayácatl, Tlatoani Mexica, and later residence of Hernán Cortés, this property houses centuries of viceregal history and architecture. It was the seat of the National Monte de Piedad since 1836 and is considered a World Heritage Site by UNESCO. After refurbishment that prioritized sustainability, «Casa Abierta Monte» obtained the LEED Gold certification, standing out as one of the oldest buildings to receive this recognition. It has emblematic works of art.
WHAT WILL YOU LIVE?

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
- Dancers 9 years and older, basic, intermediate or advanced.
- Specialties: classical dance, contemporary, jazz, musical theater.
- Minimum 2 years of formal training in ballet (for intermediate and advanced, management of pointed shoe).
- Once registered you will have to participate in a class (online) that we will announce beforehand for leveling (the class is free).
HOW DO I REGISTER?
- If you pay for your full registration, just fill out the online form. You don't need to send videos!
- If you apply for a scholarship, if necessary or required.
- Upload a video to Instagram, TikTok or Facebook with:
- Presentation (name, age, city, school).
- What do you know or expect from the 540?
- Why do you want a scholarship?
- What is your biggest dream in dance?
- Minimum 30 seconds dancing (recent video, less than 4 months).

PRE-SALE RECOVERY FEE (MAY 5, 2025 - JUNE 10, 2025):
$ 550 USD
- Payments in two parts: 60% advance + 40% settle before 10 July.
- Fee valid for the first 100 registered participants.
AFTER JUNE 11, 2025 - AUGUST 1ST, 2025:
$ 655 USD
- Payments in two parts: 60% advance payment + 40% settlement before AUGUST 1ST
- 5% discount if you pay in a single exhibition (transfer/deposit).
- Welcome kit included (official shirt, bracelet, thermos for autograph, tote bag, notebook, poster, gala photos, leotard, materials for the wardrobe)
- Extraordinary Community Scholarship: 25% discount if you register in a group (minimum 5 people: dancers, parents, teachers, friends).
