From August 11 to 16, 2026, we invite you to one of the most important dance events in Latin America and the world.
Encuentro 540 is not a workshop or a competition — it is much more.
It is a one-of-a-kind immersive experience, where for six days dancers, teachers, artists, and international leaders gather in the heart of Mexico City to learn, grow, and connect as a community.
We are not here to compete — we are here to transform.

WHO IS IT FOR?
Students, pre-professional dancers, dance teachers, mothers, fathers, grandparents, and guardians.
Located in a privileged area in the heart of Mexico City, this historic building holds over 500 years of history. Originally the palace of Axayácatl, Mexica tlatoani, and later the residence of Hernán Cortés, the site embodies centuries of history and viceregal architecture. It served as the headquarters of the Nacional Monte de Piedad from 1836 and is recognized as a UNESCO World Heritage Site.
Following a renovation that prioritized sustainability, Casa Abierta Monte achieved LEED Gold certification, standing out as one of the oldest buildings to receive this distinction. The venue also features iconic works of art.
WHAT WILL YOU EXPERIENCE?

WHO CAN PARTICIPATE?
- Dancers aged 9 and up, at basic, intermediate, or advanced levels
- Specialties: classical ballet, contemporary dance, jazz, and musical theatre.
- A minimum of 2 years of formal ballet training (for intermediate and advanced levels, proficiency in pointe work).
- Once registered, you will be required to take part in an online class announced in advance for level placement (the class is free)
HOW DO I REGISTER?
- If you pay your full registration, simply complete the online form. No videos are required!
- If you apply for a scholarship, the following is required:
- Upload a video to Instagram, TikTok, or Facebook with:
- Introduction (name, age, city, school).
- What do you know about or expect from Encuentro 540?
- Why do you want a scholarship?
- What is your biggest dream in dance?
- At least 30 seconds of dancing (recent video, less than 4 months old).

RECOVERY FEE
PHASE 1 (JANUARY 6, 2026 – MARCH 6, 2026)
$ 8,500 MXN
- Deferred payment: 50% deposit due before March 6, 2026, with the remaining balance to be paid in full by July 24, 2026.
- Fee valid for the first 100 registered participants.
PHASE 2 (MARCH 7, 2026 – JUNE 5, 2026)
$ 10,500 MXN
- Deferred payment: 50% deposit due before June 5, 2026, with the remaining balance to be paid in full by July 24, 2026.
PHASE 3 (JUNE 6, 2026 – JULY 24, 2026)
$ 12,500 MXN
- Payment must be paid in full by July 24, 2026.
Applies to all phases.
- 5% discount if you pay in a single payment (bank transfer/deposit).
- Welcome kit included (official T-shirt, wristband, autograph thermos, tote bag, notebook).
- Extraordinary Community Scholarship: 25% discount when you register as a group (minimum of 5 people: dancers, parents, teachers, friends).
EXTRAS NOT INCLUDED IN THE COST OF ENCUENTRO 540:
- Personal accident insurance (mandatory): $400 MXN.
- Meals, transportation, and accommodation
- Scholarship recipients with over 50% coverage additionally pay for their Welcome Kit (mandatory): $850 MXN.
